She was born in Piraeus and raised in Athens and Thessaloniki.

She got her Acting Diploma at the National Theatre’s Drama School and her Theatre Studies degree at the Theatre Studies Department of NKUA. Upon graduation, she got a scholarship for postgraduate studies from ΙΚΥ. She completed her MA at Goldsmiths, University of London, thesis titled The Théâtre du Soleil: a community’s establishment of a new theatrical language. She completed her PhD at the same institution, thesis titled Acting Tragedy in Twentieth-Century Greece: The Case of Electra by Sophocles, her supervisor was Professor Maria Shevtsova, and her committee’s members were Professor David Wiles and Professor Olga Taxidou.

She has taught at the Drama Department of Goldsmiths, University of London and at the Theatre Studies Department of NKUA, since 2018.

Her research and scientific interests focus on Theory and Practice in Acting and Directing on the 20th and 21st centuries in the Greek and international theatre field. She has edited volumes, special issues, journals and theatre programmes. She has participated in international conferences and symposiums in Greece (Athens, Komotini, Nafplio) and abroad, in Sweden (Lund), the UK (London, Lancaster, Reading), the Czech Republic (Prague), Malta (Valeta) and others. She has contributed with chapters in books and her articles hae been publishes in journals in Greece and abroad.

She participates and manages research programmes (Erasmus+) related to acting and improvisation techniques.

As an actress, she has worked in the theatre, cinema and television and has collaborated with directors such as Spyros Evangelatos, Yorgos Michailidis, Antonis Antoniou and others. She gives her voice to dubbed series, radio plays and spots.

As a director, she has collaborated with the Analogio Festival, the Byron Festival, the Art Theatre of London and others.

She has been a member of the Theatrical Stage for the last twenty years, where she works as an actor, dramaturg and director.

She has written the play Χωρίς τίτλο λόγω αμνησίας (Untitled due to Amnesia), which was presented in 2009-2010 by the Anemi Company and the Patras Municipal Theatre. She has publishes two novels Η Μαργαρίτα και η θάλασσα, mamaya, 2017 and Η Μαργαρίτα και τα Ηλιοτρόπια, mamaya, 2015.

She has translated for the theatre:
